So yesterday I mentioned that I have been gaining a deeper understanding of God’s love and one of the most important realisations that I have made is that, it’s through experiencing the love of God that I am able to pour out that love to others.
Ben Stuart explains that ‘love embraced becomes love extended’. He then goes on to say ‘when you know you are truly beloved, it is easy to love others. When you have an inexhaustible resource of love, you can then be a source of love for others.’
So the question for you today is what is your love source?
One of the best ways we can show our love is to connect with Love itself and God is Love.
Connecting with God and embracing His love is great for your mind and also for your soul. Intentionally telling yourself daily, hourly, every minute and second that you are loved with an everlasting love, a love that is not dependent on what you do or don’t do, a love that is not dependent on what you have or have not achieved, a love that loves you irrespective of the mistakes you have made, a love that still loves and embraces the parts of you that embarrass you or that you would not rather share.
It is an unconditional love, a powerful love, a love that protects, emboldens, encourages and cares. A love that is committed, is intentional, is fierce for you.
You are beloved eternally and once you grasp that, it will empower the way you love and support those around you.
